By now you know something astrologers have been tracking for the past few years with bated breath… that the astrology of 2020 is no joke.
You’re living it. Epic transformation of legendary proportion. Systemic collapse. Slow and entire rebirth.
These times are utterly mythic.
We are moving through the change of an age. The cooking process of necessary alchemy is already well underway. It’s happening through us at cellular and multiversal levels.
Major shifts were initiated in January and March that provided the precursor for what’s to come next. Those months were the warm-up act...
As an astrologer and human, I am not one to sugarcoat, gloss over, or pretend. Silver linings are only significant when viewed against the storm cloud. I am a wayfinder, and I am committed to tracking currents to assist and inform our movements.
The next 6 months will not be easy.
They will test us greatly.
Gathering together is a necessity. In gathering, we anchor our Cosmic Humanness. Let’s create a commons. A collectively-held web around oracular storytelling, intergalactic insight, and interconnection so we can move through Change as well-prepared, and well-held People. Interwoven through the truth of who and what we really are.
Extinction in Our Midst
What is becoming extinct?
The human race? Precious Earth-species? Ice caps? Binary systems? A culture of cyclic violence?
What will be lost? Will anything be gained?
How much of this is within our control? What do we have agency and influence over?
We don’t fully know, and we are approaching a crossroads. Reality is already splitting. The next 6 months features a real reckoning with what we have agency and control over - and what is beyond our reach.
These times will galvanize us, grind into us, and land us squarely within ourselves. Who we came to be. What we came to do. Nothing more, nothing less.
We are heading towards a moment of enormous pressure, and beyond that, reinvention and movement beyond our wildest imaginings.
Rebellion. Insurgency. Regeneration.
Prophesied times about the birth of new worlds.
Each of us has an isolated path and unique place in this matter. We will be asked to stand firmly in our lane - the way made for us. We will also be asked to look for ways to join together, to relate through difference, to constellate, to collect and refract an honest human grid of genius.
In times of collapse, the magic powers of our inborn gifts activate as needed to build the worlds of our future. Each of us is a channel, a guide, a weaver. Reckoning and reinventing.
Reclaiming what’s been lost. Reversing broken codes. Reviving what’s been dormant.
We are acutely alone + innately interwoven. We are also accompanied by our most ancient ancestors - those of the dust of Earth and Sky. Let’s not forget the intergalactic assistance of conscious powers far evolved beyond what we’ve encountered.

What this circle isn’t:
- Astrology 101 or a fundamentals course. Astrological concepts will be defined and explored as-we-go, but if you’re seeking a linear mapping of “Signs Aries through Pisces” or “The meaning of Planets, from Sun to Pluto,” this will not be the approach. Much can be learned through absorption/osmosis, and Virginia will provide a reading list where you can self-study in between sessions if you’d like more of a grasp of the basics.

This circle is a space of teaching/learning/sharing and is not intended as therapy nor is it to replace professional mental health support or care. Who is guiding:
My name is Virginia Rosenberg. I am a Gemini Sun, Leo Moon/Rising in Western Astrology and an Earth Dragon in Chinese Astrology. Since 2010, I have been in practice as an intuitive astrologer for social change. I have performed thousands of readings and taught hundreds of classes, workshops, and retreats (combined) for people worldwide. Also since 2010, I have been living in the mountains of land now named Asheville, North Carolina. These are occupied lands formerly stewarded by Tsalaguwetiyi (Eastern Band of Cherokee) and S’atsoyaha (Yuchi). I am descended from Hungarian-Romanian (Transylvanian) Jews and French, German, and British settler colonists. I am white-bodied, cisgendered woman. A mother. A writer. A wisdom-gatherer. I trust inquiry, nature, the body, humanness, the more-than-human worlds, and the art of being alive.
The tools I utilize include astrology, embodiment, writing, qi gong, and movement/dance. My educational background includes post-colonial and women’s/gender studies, cultural anthropology, journalism, musical theater and performance, queer femme comedy, documentary filmmaking, Taoist philosophy, internal martial arts, and myriad forms of dance.
Philosophy of Relating:
This philosophy is greatly informed by the work of James-Olivia Chu Hillman.
Recreating culture and sustainable lifeways depends on reinventing relationships. Many of us have been conditioned into harmful ways of relating to uphold systems of supremacy. We acknowledge and embrace the learning curve required to rebuild relevant community based in regard and responsibility. We are learning and practicing together in real time.
Conflict inevitably arises. Rather than avoid it, we invite one another to practice confrontation. Confrontation means “to face together.” We hold it as a priority to cultivate nurturing, resilient relationships through sharing truths and connecting through difference. Wherever we can, we agree to respond to troubles with curiosity, self-sovereignty, and commitment to repair.
